Happy Sunday Lovelies,
Hope you are enjoying your day wherever you are. Looks like the heatwave here in Scotland is well and truly over. That was a lovely week of summer, I hope you made the most of it!
I’m having a typical lazy Sunday, hanging out with the cats, watching Sons of Anarchy and just generally chilling out. What about you?
Today’s blog post is about where I see myself in 5, 10 and 15 years time. So let’s look at this based on the ages I will be in those years. So in 5 years I will be 39! Not at all a terrifying thought!
I imagine that in five years I will still be teaching, hopefully doing some craft, making things for people and possibly living in a house in Edinburgh. I hope that I will have a happier relationship with food and be healthy. I hopefully will have travelled to a few places on my bucket list, including more of mainland Europe and China. I will also, hopefully, have a few more pets.
In ten years I will be 44, again hopefully still teaching! Though possibly part-time by this point. Definitely hope I will have travelled to most of my bucket list by this point. I’ll hopefully still have a healthy relationship with food and be healthy. I would like to write, so I’ll also say that I will have published my first book by age 44 too!
In fifteen years I will be 49! I’m not going to lie – even writing that made me get a little dizzy with the thought of it! I can’t imagine being on the cusp of 50! Seems like such a long way a way but in reality I can still remember being 19 very clearly and that feels like I blinked and suddenly I’m 34. It means that I absolutely need to make the most of my time and I truly do intend to do so! So as to where I will be in 15 years – I truly have no idea. As before, I hope to be healthy, I hope to have travelled and to have enjoyed.
So here is to the next 5, 10 and 15 years! Without a doubt, I hope to still be writing a blog, as I have really enjoyed it and am loving the April challenge – can’t believe there are only 8 days left!
See you tomorrow for a blog post about my top 5 hobbies and why I love them!
